The Opportunity
This is a key role within our global finance team, reporting directly to the SVP Group Finance and working closely with the CFO, Audit Committee, and Global Leadership Team. You will lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting in a complex, multi-currency, midcap-listed environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic impact.
What you will do
Own and deliver planning and execution of interim and year-end external reporting including preliminary announcements and the Quarterly and Annual Report
Ensure Group’s adherence to accounting standards and disclosure requirements, while serving as the main liaison with external auditors
Own and deliver multi-currency IFRS consolidation process and monthly management reporting for the Group
Handle all technical aspects of the Group's financial statements, including dual reporting, impairment reviews, and foreign exchange matters, while providing expertise on complex accounting issues
Contribute to the preparation of Board and Audit Committee papers
Supervise the production of subsidiary statutory accounts for all legal entities
Oversee monthly accounting and reporting for the Group's holding companies
Take ownership of the Group's accounting policies and procedures, coordinating the implementation of new policies and accounting standards such as IFRS
Manage the Group's legal entity structure, including capital arrangements and monitoring distributable reserves
Play an active role in the development and delivery of SRD/ESG/sustainability reporting capabilities
Mentor a team of two qualified accountants in Group Consolidations and Reporting
Participate in ad hoc projects, providing support to both the Group finance and business unit finance teams
What We Are Looking For
Qualified Public accountant/economist with extensive post-qualification experience in a listed Group function
Proven experience in multi-currency Group consolidation and Swedish listed company reporting, with a strong background in leadership by expertise and example
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
Advanced proficiency in finance systems - Aaro and Netsuite a clear advantage - and Excel, with the ability to manipulate and present complex financial data
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Swedish statutory accounts, and relevant disclosure requirements, including IFRS
Confident and effective communicator, capable of building relationships and presenting financial information in Swedish and English clearly and concisely
Proactive and self-motivated with a keen interest in taking ownership of projects and responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
Certified Public Accountant Qualification
Minimum 10 years PQE
Swedish language spoken and written (C1 level minimum)
