We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance with a background in Transaction Services and Auditing, completed by a successful experience in the financial department of a SME, to join one of our future Portfolio companies. This role is critical to our organization's financial operations and strategy, and we are looking for a professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
As Head of Finance, your role will be instrumental in driving financial stability and growth, ensuring transparency in financial transactions, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Oversee and manage the financial transactions and auditing processes of the company to ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations related to financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth.
- Develop and implement internal audit strategies to mitigate financial risk.
- Lead due diligence processes related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and ensure their alignment with overall company objectives.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, board of directors, and key stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the company's financial operations stay compliant.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or a professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in finance, that can be split beteewn transaction services / audit and the financial department of a SME
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
