Job Purpose
As Head of Delivery, you will oversee the successful delivery and operations within IOE. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Technology and Director of Product to ensure alignment on budgets, timelines and key milestones , are agreed upon and communicated to senior stakeholders. You will work to lead the team through PI Planning events and supporting the IOE's delivery by proactively identifying and removing blockers. . You will support IOE on the lean and agile best practices to support the process of “What” we deliver and “How” we deliver.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Ensure accurate and transparent communication of budget status and financial performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and the wider organization on key activities and progress in IOE.
- Hiring and Capacity Planning: Understand current and future capacity needs, collaborating with HR and Talent Acquisition to address hiring gaps.
- Objective & Key Results Facilitation: Administer and monitor the OKR process, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Progress Reporting: Continuously monitor project progress, identifying challenges and solutions, and reporting updates to all stakeholders.
- RAID Management: Maintain and manage the RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies/Decisions), ensuring clear visibility of risks and mitigations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across technology, processes, and team dynamics to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Process & Workflow Ownership: Manage key processes such as effort tracking, invoicing, vendor contract management, strategic planning, performance assessment, and client engagement.
- Empower Project Teams: Empower project teams to deliver the best results by establishing clear processes and aligning efforts effectively. Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure these processes are aligned with operational goals and executed efficiently.
Leadership
- Inspire, motivate, and nurture the growth of the project teams under your leadership, fostering autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
- Empowering the project teams to provide the best results by organizing clear processes and coordinating team efforts
- Partner the Talent Acquisition team to attract the best talent
- Act as a coach and mentor for all team members, particularly in adopting and optimizing lean and agile methodologies.

Requirements
Key Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Expertise in Agile Methodologies ( SAFe, Crum) and lean principles, with a focus on real-world application.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Expert in SDLC and familiarity with CI/CD
- Systems thinking with the ability to see the bigger picture and integrate solutions across teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years experience delivering and managing software products.
- At least 2 years of experience in blockchain technology
- Experience in establishing and improving operational processes
- Experience in managing upwards and peers, and reporting to C-suite.
- Experience in taking responsibility for contract and commercial terms on projects (involved in Statement of Works) and vendor management.
- Experienced in program governance, risk, and reporting, owning budgets of minimum £2M (forecasting and budget management).
- Experience in creating teams that are built to last
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or another relevant field
