Reporting to the Head of Commercial Growth, Adjacent Revenue - the role will play a pivotal role in identifying, orchestrating, and then managing new commercial relationships to grow market share and revenue growth at SEEK. As a key member of SEEK’s Commercial Growth Team, the role is tasked with spearheading a partnership strategy across APAC for SEEK, aligning it with our revenue growth objectives, and ensuring that each partnership delivers tangible business results. The role requires a blend of highly developed commercial acumen, strategic vision, market insight, and the interpersonal and negotiation skills required to forge successful, scalable partnerships and alliances.
Key Responsibilities

Identifying partnership opportunities: Build a partnership pipeline by mapping and prioritising the landscape of commercial partnership opportunities for SEEK that will deliver maximum impact in support of our strategic and commercial objectives.

Ensuring strategic alignment: Ensuring all partnerships support SEEK’s commercial and strategic goals, contributing to revenue growth and market-share expansion. Monitor competitor partnership strategies and articulate strategy implications and learnings for SEEK.

Negotiating and implementing contractual agreements: Leading negotiations with potential commercial partners. Ensuring agreements are favourable, and deliver on SEEK’s objectives, whilst delivering mutual benefit to partners.

Bringing partnerships to life: Champion agreed partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution and partner support.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop, establish and maintain impactful relationships with key external and cross-functional stakeholders. Internally you’ll be working closely with the commercial management, product, strategy, marketing, sales, finance and technology teams

Monitoring and optimising commercial relationships: Develop a robust framework for managing and evaluating the success of commercial partnerships.
- Significant experience developing, negotiating and executing bold, innovative partnership strategies that deliver measurable value. Has personally led, successfully closed, and then executed large strategic commercial partnership deals from end-to-end
- Experience in a commercial, business development, or partnering leadership roles - ideally within employment marketplaces, the media sector, or other online/platform businesses
- Highly developed influencing, facilitation and negotiations skills with ability to develop trust with stakeholders
- Sound judgment and commercial acumen, with a pragmatic focus on delivering outcomes
- Innovator and creative thinker who’s comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty
- Strong customer and partner-centric mindset, with strong empathy and focus on creating mutual value
- Demonstrates executive-level strategic thinking, and the ability to tell compelling stories
