Your role

The Center of Organizational Excellence is a brand new department which will play a pivotal role in supporting the scaling of Fastned by driving the governance of the strategic planning cycles (short-medium-long term plans).

It will streamline and improve critical workflows and will act as a unifying force that drives cross functional collaboration and the standardisation of best practices for project management and process design across Fastned.

Your key responsibilities as the Head of Center of Organizational Excellence are:

  • Leading the Centre of Organizational Excellence team focusing on process improvement, tools optimization and best practices for process/initiatives.
  • Providing thought leadership and driving the governance for the strategy development & planning cycle (short-medium-long term plans & reviews).
  • Overseeing deviations from the plans & work with the business stakeholders to define the cross functional impact and propose next course of actions.
  • Supporting Enterprise wide cross-functional processes governance & optimization and change management.
  • Driving Project governance & best practices with an essential focus on the prioritization, assessment, impact of cross functional initiatives.
  • Designing a tooling strategy with our IT team to ensure we cover the needs of our key functions, within the context of risk & compliance.
  • Performing other similar functions in specific focus areas considered critical to the success of the overall organization.

In this function you will report directly to the COO. The role is located in our Amsterdam headquarters and will require 25% travel.

Who we are looking for

We’re seeking an empathic leader, with a passion for bridging people & processes, who can inspire and connect. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, blending strategic vision with the practical ability to overcome challenges.   • Preferably a 8-10 years experience in a fast growing environment responsible for driving large End to End Enterprise Program. An engineering background is a plus.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skill within a fast moving environment.
  • Experienced in working within a matrix business environment.
  • Solid influencing skills to facilitate change without formal reporting lines by influencing and inspiring teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility.
  • Fluency in English. Additional European languages such as Dutch, German or French are a plus.
