As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing new markets, starting from almost zero. Your goal will be to position our solutions in European and U.S. markets while remaining open to opportunities in other regions. You will need to target public and private laboratories and work independently to identify and engage potential clients using all available tools.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospecting new markets, mainly in Europe and the USA.
- Identifying opportunities in public and private laboratories.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing contracts.
- Ensuring a high level of technical communication with clients, in collaboration with application engineers.
- Representing the company at international conferences and events.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Degree in business, engineering, or sciences (microbiology knowledge appreciated).
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with the ability to manage long sales cycles for scientific instruments.
- Fluent in English, essential for international communication.
- Strong persuasive skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
