Head of Branding and Marketing Communications, Virtual Insurance

About the role: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our entire branding and marketing communications department as the Head of Branding and Marketing Communications. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's identity, driving strategic marketing initiatives, and ultimately contributing to brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead the entire branding and marketing communications department; including branding, social media, SEO, design and other marketing functions. 
  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for the brand and products, ensuring alignment with business objectives to drive brand growth and customer engagement. 
  • Develop brand strategy and marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and brand preference to reinforce our leading position in virtual insurance market and enhance our engagement with our prospects and customers 
  • Develop and drive proposition for various products to stand ourselves from the crowd and create unique market demand.  
  • Work closely with PR on driving market education and media coverage to build brand value 
  • Work closely with Growth Team on developing promotion ideas for customer acquisition to achieve revenue goal 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies and initiatives. 
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and development. 
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content. 
  • Work with agencies or in-house on customer researches or focus groups to understand the latest market landscape and customer insights. Be able to utilize various market researches and analytics to identify consumer insights and trends, informing strategic decision-making. 
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, including advertising agencies, to execute impactful marketing campaigns. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement. 

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 
  • Over 10 years’ working experience in senior marketing leadership roles, demonstrating success in leading marketing and brand strategies at an organizational level. 
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns, ideally with experience in 360-degree and social media campaigns. 
  • Prior experience working in an advertising agency, preferably on the creative side, or in-house marketing department with a focus on driving advertising strategies. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate across functions. 
  • Experience in digital product would be preferrable but not a must 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. 
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making. 
  • Passion for innovation and creativity, with a keen eye for detail and design.
