WATI is an early-stage, venture-backed SaaS platform that is defining how companies communicate with their customers. Through our customer engagement software, built on top of WhatsApp’s Business API, businesses can easily engage with their customers in-real time - at scale!

As our Head of Acquisition, you will be responsible for scaling and leading the customer success team to new heights. This is a unique and challenging opportunity to coach and lead teams of high-performing sales executives who are experienced in outbound prospecting, demos, inbound campaigns and closing SaaS software deals.


What you’ll do:

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the acquisition team includes recruiting, on-boarding, and training new CSMs, team events, and culture-building
  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Mentoring direct reports on strategies to drive closure
  • Reporting on all aspects of the business to senior sales management
  • Identifying ways to innovate our sales model (demos, inbound, outbound), including product demonstrations, automation of manual tasks, and implementing change with marketing & product teams
  • Consistently supervising sales efficiency by building dashboards and reports, and analyzing customer data to identify buying / expansion / churn signals


Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales, with heavy weight to software experience in SaaS/Customer Support/Sales/CRM
  • Consistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
  • Prior experience managing sales teams preferred, preferably in SMB SaaS with team beating 100%+ of quota
  • Having worked and scaled sales of a SMB SaaS Customer Engagement startup and scaled revenues from Series A to Series D will be ideal
  • Passionate about training early career reps, with a consistent record of building a great working environment
  • Able to thrive in a startup environment— you move quickly, think strategically, and are superb at tactical execution
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with customer-facing and back-office teams
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and listening skills
  • Must be analytical and results orientated through all stages of the sales cycle
