We are seeking an experienced Head - Inbound (SME & Partnership) to lead inbound efforts for merchant acquisition and manage strategic partnerships in the B2B payment gateway space. The ideal candidate will drive new acquisitions through inbound channels, increasing business adoption and market penetration within the SME segment. This role will require overseeing a high-performing inside sales team, optimizing inbound processes, and ensuring a seamless experience for merchants and partners.
The position will report to the Head- Payment Gateway (SME & Partnerships), and involves managing a team to ensure buildup of partners and merchants of the payment gateway for SMEs . This role requires a focus on maximizing throughput, margins, and the overall merchant experience in the assigned business segment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound Merchant Acquisition:
○ Drive inbound efforts to increase merchant acquisition, with a focus on SMEs, by leveraging lead generation channels and optimizing the inbound sales funnel.
○ Develop strategies to maximize lead conversion and ensure seamless onboarding, helping increase adoption of the payment gateway
○ Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve the quality and volume of inbound leads, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

2. Partnership Development: (via inbound channel)
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, ensuring seamless integration with our payment gateway.
○ Serve as the primary point of contact for partnerships, continuously improving partner engagement and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
○ Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, GTM, Finance, and tech to align partnerships with broader business goals.

3. Inside Sales Management:
● Lead, guide, and motivate a sizable inside sales team focused on managing inbound merchant and partner leads.
● Implement industry best practices, technology platforms, and success metrics to boost team productivity and drive a high-performing sales operation.

● Ensure that the inside sales team collaborates effectively with recruiting teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior management to anticipate and manage business needs.

4. Team Management:
○ It is a team handling role : The incumbent would have to focus on team mobilization, increasing sales pipeline, networking with merchant leadership teams, and having strong negotiating skills in addition to overseeing a team of more than 100+ people and central support team members.

5. Process Optimization & Funnel Improvement:

● Take ownership of the inbound lead funnel, improving processes to optimize conversion rates and enhance the overall efficiency of the
sales pipeline.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously refine and enhance the inbound funnel, from lead generation to onboarding,
ensuring a smooth merchant experience and maximum throughput.

Requirements:
● MBA from Tier 1 campus with 6-10 years of work experience
● Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with a deep understanding of marketing and sales principles and drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success related to established targets and metrics
● Problem-solving abilities with strong bias for impact and Collaboration - ability to work collaboratively with senior management across various functions to ensure effective execution of the overall strategy and roadmap.
● Analytical skills & able to handle large volumes of data with highest accuracy levels
● Decision-making process & provide insights into the business
● Flexible to adopt changes as per business requirement
● Self-motivated and self-starter.
