About the Role
Reporting to the President of Banking business, you will be responsible for opening new opportunities and leveraging your existing rolodex, delivering revenue and booking high-value targeted accounts. In this high-touch sale, you will use your consultative listening and selling skills to thoroughly understand our prospects and clients' businesses and how Zeta’s solutions can help them achieve their strategies.

Responsibilities
- Sales
- Build and manage a Sales team that pitches to the mid to large banks in the country
- Foster close relationships with CXOs and key decision makers at Indian banks
- Position Zeta as a new generation issuance platform among all the issuers in India
- Sign large and medium banking clients for Zeta’s Products and Platform
- Account Management
- Build and manage relationships with banking clients, industry bodies and networks
- Define and implement processes for client onboarding, support, land & expand motions and revenue maximization on signed contracts
- Manage the entire sale cycles, from product presentation to closing rate negotiations and go-live strategies
- Work closely with operations to ensure implementation of each contract is as per agreed goals; thereafter monitor contract implementation for adherence
- Manage Zeta’s network relationships including getting contracts signed/renewed
- Participate in banking and fintech events in the country.
- Product strategy
- Work with leadership team for validation of product market fit
Skills and Attributes Required
- Outstanding banking Rolodex with Sr Management (EVP, SVP) and decision makers across banks/networks/fintech in India
- Adaptable, approachable, open-minded with a clear understanding of the business; The incumbent must bring the ability and orientation to contribute beyond their scope of work. Ability to perform as an individual contributor (in-direct team leader)
- Deep understanding of Issuance Stack and competitive landscape
- Deep experience in selling tech platforms and solutions to Issuers
- Fair understanding of market regulations
- Marketing Strategy for delivering banking and fintech leads
- Automation oriented. Uses tools and CRMs to record everything. Doesn’t let anything fall through the cracks
- Strong ability, aptitude, and desire to network and to earn the confidence of diverse senior client leaders in marketing, sales, product, technology, operations, finance, and procurement functions
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – comfortable presenting to ‘c’ level and boards
- Creative, positive, and collaborative problem solver
Experience & Qualification
- 15+ years of experience and a dynamic sales contributor with proven success in the Cloud, Software, and/or financial services industry B2B sales.
- SaaS & Cloud Technology acumen to rapidly learn & develop a solid understanding of Zeta’s products and services, especially in to Indian banking industry.
- Consistently achieves and exceeds sales quotas.
- Technical and/or MBA from an accredited, top-tier institution is not required but highly desired.
