Our partner is seeking a HCC Risk Adjustment Coder Auditor in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves identifying, collecting, and documenting diagnosis codes while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This senior-level position requires strong coding knowledge and minimal supervision, with the ability to serve as a resource for others.
Responsibilities:
- Review medical charts to ensure accurate diagnosis coding and documentation
- Research and resolve assigned coding projects
- Conduct ongoing analysis of medical record charts to ensure coding compliance
- Participate in team meetings to provide updates and information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience beyond the degree
- Coding Certification required (AAPC/AHIMA - CRC, CPC, CPC-A, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CCA)
- Strong knowledge of coding practices, HCC risk adjustment, and medical record analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- This position requires occasional onsite work in Minnetonka or Madison, based on business needs.
