Skywalker Vineyards seeks both full- and part-time Guest Services Coordinators to support ongoing operations at Summit Skywalker Ranch. Our Guest Services team is responsible for providing a high level of support to a number of operational areas, including Front Desk, Events, Food & Beverage, Wine Tasting Room, and our General Store.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team recognized for delivering levels of service that go above and beyond guest expectations. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and excel in customer-facing roles.
Candidates who apply must be willing to work overtime, flexible shifts, and weekends.
Guest Services Responsibilities:
Your primary goal in this role is to work with teams across multiple departments to deliver seamless and exceptional guest experiences. To achieve this, you must be proactive and have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with team members in a number of different departments.
Some of the things you will do in this position include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting Front Desk operations such as answering telephones, guest check-in/check- out, escorting guests to their rooms, assisting with luggage and offering Concierge services.
- Preparing room key cards and conducting room inspections prior to guest arrival to ensure all guest preferences are in place.
- Supporting all aspects of Corporate and Special Events throughout the year, including event set-up, service and breakdown.
- Working in our Wine Tasting Room and General Store, including assisting guests with product selection, promoting products and processing purchases.
- Assisting with a range of other special projects or annual tasks such as olive oil bottling, product labeling, setting up holiday decorations, organizing areas and general cleaning.
Requirements
Education / Experience:
- One to three years of experience in a customer-facing role within the hotel, hospitality or restaurant industries.
Required Skills / Competencies:
- A passion for and proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to gracefully and enthusiastically work in a fast-paced environment where focuses, priorities, tasks and duties frequently shift.
- Above average communication skills with the ability to work well in and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
- Knowledge of and passion for fine wines and winemaking is a plus.
