The Growth team's core responsibility is to create the best customer experience across all segments of the OpenAI business. We draw inspiration from a diverse set of customers – ranging from individuals venturing into ChatGPT for their inaugural experience to well-established enterprises building products to deliver value to their own customers. Our focus is on enduring customer and business impact through initiatives, large and small, firmly rooted in data and insights.
We are seeking a key member for OpenAI's Growth team to drive engagement and generate impact throughout the customer journey - especially within our longtail customer segment. You will use your analytical and technical skills to design experiments, optimize our sales assist & product-led sales motions, and deliver direct business results through strong partnerships with sales, product, engineering, and more. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
Create and maintain a roadmap of initiatives to drive impact and insights in our high velocity sales segment
Design rigorous experiments that involve sales, customer success, AI, and self serve experience to optimize for efficient monetization
Partner with stakeholders to design a solution for how to address problems like routing for extra large lead volumes, scaled onboarding, and renewals programs
Collaborate closely with sales, rev ops, marketing, growth, and data science to cultivate a best in class customer experience
Analyze qualitative and quantitative insights from customer facing teams and data to generate opportunities

Scale customer obsession
Have experience in a customer facing role like sales, success, or user operations
Prior experience with a product-led growth GTM motion.
Experience collaborating with data science to design A/B tests
Comfort with BI tools, dashboarding, and data analysis
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
SQL proficiency
Salesforce, Pocus, or other PLG CRM tool proficiency
Experience across B2B and consumer product
Knowledge and passion for AI
