What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey is seeking a highly motivated Growth Marketing Specialist - Paid Search to join our team and support our efforts to fuel bookings for our Surveys Self-Serve business and Pipeline for our Sales-Assisted business. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager - Paid Search, this role is integral to growing the business through the development, implementation, and optimizations across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. We are looking for a curious individual with a strong sense of ownership, is highly growth-oriented, has the analytical ability to effectively measure and manage paid search campaigns, and will relentlessly seek to test, improve, and optimize the programs. The ideal candidate has previous SaaS experience, with a customer acquisition and lead generation model, strong communication skills and the capability to effectively report on strategy, tactics, and performance.

What you’ll be working on

  • Manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to grow our global business; driving new business accounts, leads, pipeline and revenue.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to interpret data, extract valuable insights and recommend actionable improvements to boost campaign effectiveness.
  • Update ongoing reporting and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance updates and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand, PMM, Web, SEO, Growth and Analytics teams to share learnings, test new hypotheses and help support the overall strategy and business objectives. 
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of A/B testing to effectively engage and convert target personas.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Minimum of 2+ years of in-platform paid search experience for a SaaS company in-house or agency experience.
  • Expert with tools like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics, Looker, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong understanding of advanced bid strategies and optimizing towards performance metrics such as ROAS, LTV, CAC, etc.
  • Strategic and innovative, with excellent analytical abilities and proven success in executing data-driven paid search programs.
  • A team player and self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative with limited resources and a passion for experimentation.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
