High Alpha is hiring key team members for a new B2B SaaS startup. This position will be with High Alpha’s latest company, which is pre-public launch. You’ll work closely with the internal High Alpha team while reporting to the CEO. If you’ve ever been interested in working at a company from scratch as a member of the initial team, this is it!

This pre-launch product leverages breakthrough technology in the generative AI space along with information gleaned from skilled Consultants, to automate the creation of solutions collateral. This company will unlock skilled professionals to focus on the “neck up” parts of the role by automating the most administrative, but often most time-consuming, element of solutions collateral generation. 

About this role:

We want a passionate, creative Growth Marketing Manager to be the founding member of our marketing team. We want a marketer who understands the role marketing plays in driving demand, awareness, and interest in both our product and a new category of technology. This person will be responsible for driving demand, awareness, and understanding of our product through strategic positioning and marketing programs such as content marketing, events, email marketing, paid media, and more.

This person will be strategic, creative, and not afraid to jump in and get things done.

What You’ll Do:

As the founding member of our marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to design, build, and oversee the company’s first marketing program — an incredibly important function. You’ll develop a strategy for building brand and category awareness, driving interest and demand in our product, and helping set and position our brand in the market.  In short, your primary goal as the Growth Marketing Manager will be to drive revenue for our product through effective messaging and marketing programs. You’ll do this by:

  • Helping set and refine our ICP and target personas.
  • Creating integrated marketing campaigns that produce results; these campaigns drive awareness in the market, build trust with our audience, and generate true demand amongst our ICP.
  • Building creative and innovative strategies that drive buzz for our product and category; you’ll leverage traditional demand generation approaches such as paid media, sponsorships, events, and content, but you’ll also build innovative new approaches to driving awareness and interest in our business.
  • Creating content (blogs, eBooks, presentations, case studies, videos, etc.) with clear, compelling, persona-driven product positioning/messaging. .
  • Articulating the value proposition of the products to end users through sales tools(presentations, battle cards, etc.) that support the selling process of each product line.
  • Staying aware of changes in competitor pricing and positioning for existing and future product offerings.
  • Managing a budget to meet and surpass goals.

What You’ll Need: 

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with progressively increasing responsibilities; once you understand your objective, you need little oversight and guidance on what needs to be done to achieve that objective.
  • 3+ years of growth marketing experience; you have a foundation of knowledge and experience to pull from and can use that foundation to innovate and come up with groundbreaking new strategies. 
  • Prior experience in a B2B SAAS or subscription business model business; you know how the B2B SaaS world works and have experience driving success within this space. 
  • Experience in, or deep knowledge of, professional services is preferred; you have empathy for our buyer because you know their pain. 
  • Startup experience in Seed or Series A companies; you’re not only comfortable with change but thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments. 
  • A willingness to stretch beyond your comfort zone; at this early stage we all lean outside our domain to get things done. 
  • Must be able to work both at a strategic and tactical level to get the job done; you’ll both set and execute the strategy. 
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and writing skills and ability to successfully interact across functions at all levels of an organization and with customers
  • Experience using HubSpot Marketing Hub or something similar
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4
  • Experience with running paid media campaigns such as search campaigns and social ads
  • Experience hitting and exceeding hard revenue goals attached to marketing
  • Experience managing a budget and working with external vendors such as freelancers or agencies

Package:

Compensation:

  • $90,000-110,000 annual salary based on experience
