Growth Marketing Manager - AI Chatbot

As the Growth Marketing Manager, AI at Sendbird, your objective is to grow the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot and generative AI business. Success is measured by the volume of free trial-to-paid conversions and, ultimately, the revenue we can book through this business line. 

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing while working in a cross-functional AI team – spanning dedicated members from product management, engineering, design, product marketing, demand gen, lifecycle, and ops – led by the AI Business General Manager, the organization will lean on you as the subject matter expert in driving the AI market position Sendbird should be striving to achieve. 

Projects include but are not limited to market sizing, persona mapping, ideal customer profile analysis and definition, positioning & messaging, asset creation, product launches, competitive strategy, and in-product experimentation to boost product-led growth (PLG). If you are a strategic marketer motivated by the AI domain, can help build a growing new business line, are unafraid to take action to win or fail, and are attracted to a high-intensity and fast-moving team – this role is for you.

What you’ll do

  • Grow the company's AI chatbot and generative AI business through product-led growth strategies, and tie them to a sales-assisted motion.
  • Lead in-product experimentation efforts to boost product-led growth, and convert free trials to paid subscriptions by improving user experience and messaging
  • Measure success, including product metrics and customer engagement metrics, aiming to increase dollar revenue.
  • Fill in opportunity gaps across all funnels and optimize strategies to achieve business goals. 
  • Conduct research to understand the potential market scope for AI chatbots and LLM integrations, conveying positioning and messaging for the market and customers.
  • Map out personas to identify and appeal to the target audience for AI products.
  • Analyze and define the ideal customer profile and pain points, leveraging diverse research methods such as customer surveys and interviews to highlight our Sendbird differentiation.
  • Develop compelling positioning and messaging; create compelling assets including brochures, presentations, eBooks, and website content.
  • Plan and execute product launches to introduce new AI features or integrations to the market, focusing on specific customer acquisition and partner channels.
  • Formulate and implement competitive strategies to secure an advantage in the AI chatbot and LLM market.
  • Report to the Head of Product Marketing and work directly with a cross-functional AI team, including product management, design, demand generation, lifecycle, and operations, under the leadership of the General Manager of AI Business at Sendbird.

What you bring:

  • 6+ years in SaaS/CPaaS product marketing, experience with AI a plus
  • Demonstrated success in marketing or selling to product management or engineering leaders
  • Adept at framing, positioning & messaging, and orchestrating go-to-market strategy/experiments
  • Effective at managing cross-functional projects
  • Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office twice per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
