Role overview
As a Growth Engineer at Vaadin, you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop this newly created role. You’ll drive our growth by leveraging data to inform strategies and implement technical solutions. Working closely with our Head of Marketing and cross-functional teams, you’ll optimize marketing and sales processes, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze customer data and funnel metrics to identify growth opportunities. Lead high-impact projects that drive revenue and improve customer retention.
- Manage and optimize HubSpot and our GTM tech stack to align with company goals.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, including SEO optimization, landing page creation, and A/B testing to improve conversion rates and the user journey.
- Build internal solutions to automate business processes using custom frontends, cloud applications, backend services, and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data and automation in growth initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and systems to support marketing initiatives, continuously refining growth strategies with marketing technologies.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: At least 3 years in a growth engineering or similar role, with hands-on experience in Revenue Operations or designing workflows in HubSpot.
- Data-analysis and development skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Marketing & sales insight: Deep understanding of marketing, sales, and CS processes, particularly in SaaS or B2B environments. Familiarity with product usage data and Product Qualified Lead (PQL) models.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills: Proven ability to run A/B tests, evaluate results and drive continuous improvement in growth strategies.
- Tools & technologies: Experience with marketing automation, data warehousing, CRM systems (we use Hubspot), analytics, and customer data platforms (CDPs), as well as tools like Apollo, Google Tag Manager, and Ortto.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

We're a remote-first company with global teams, meaning most of us work remotely. In this role you can work from anywhere within European time zones, with flexible hours to support your work-life balance. While we have offices in Turku (Finland) and Berlin (Germany), most interactions happen online.
