We're seeking a dynamic senior finance manager to business partner across our 4 UK distribution centres.

The role

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager reporting into the Head of Supply Chain Finance, your role is the finance budget owner for over £250m annual spend for inbound freight, outbound carriage and customer services costs.

You will be expected to drive cost and KPI performance through effective management reporting, challenging the status quo and supporting the teams to deliver their objectives.

As a key member of both the Finance and Supply Chain functions, you will be the primary business partner for the inbound, outbound, returns and customer services teams.

What you'll be doing

You will business partner to key operational stakeholders across Supply Chain and specifically across Carriage, Inbound and Customer Services teams driving the cost agenda, challenging areas to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

You will be working closely with key stakeholders to drive a cost management culture and data driven decisions, developing and delivering robust and consistent reporting across Supply Chain and Customer Services – this includes daily, weekly and monthly reporting

You will look to identify and analyse trends, risks, opportunities and sensitivities, making recommendations off the back of these driving the quarterly forecast and annual budget cycles

Ensure robust control and governance frameworks are in place for all Supply Chain and Customer Services spends, managing and mentoring to one direct report, providing guidance and support in their professional development

You will report monthly performance to Head of Supply Chain Finance and Director level stakeholders, so need to ensure you have dealt with this level before.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
  • Strong communication skills and track record of business partnering
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to hit tight deadlines
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, translating this into operational recommendations
  • E-commerce/Retail/Supply Chain experience preferable
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Team leadership skills
