Group Product Marketing Manager, Fraud Management

Our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product bookings & adoption post-launch. 

We work cross-functionally, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, other Marketing teams, and almost every part of the company.  

About the role:

You will lead product marketing globally for Fraud Management and related capabilities (including Chargeback Recovery & our user portal). Fraud Management represents the core of our business today; it is used by the largest digital commerce businesses across industries. The fraud prevention landscape is noisy, with legacy technologies, AI-powered innovation, and differing business models including fraud insurance. Forter has the market leading offering, and it is your job to cut through the noise to support our continued global growth. This is a highly visible position that will collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Solution Consulting, Marketing and Company leadership. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Launch: Forter invests nearly 40% of revenue into R&D, and so we have an ambitious product roadmap. Expect to collaborate with Product Management and other teams to define launch plans, build our go to market strategy, ensure clear communication, and reinforce Forter as the market innovator.
  • Grow: Define go-to-market strategies and partner with marketing, sales, and success teams to deliver product bookings & adoption goals post-launch. 
  • Position: Forter’s platform and results are differentiated, but competition in our market is aggressive. Work with our Creative, Comms and other teams to refresh and reinforce our brand framework and messaging, ensuring we stand apart from other providers.
  • Generate insights: You will develop customer and market insights using analysts and research that will shape our product strategy and help us communicate our differentiated value. 
  • Enable. You partner with our Sales Enablement team and field leadership to improve readiness across our customer-facing teams to help them better support customers. 
  • Think globally: You will ensure success of your products globally, understanding requirements and nuances that vary across markets and adjusting your approach accordingly.

  • A storyteller. You have deep empathy for customers and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience— both technical and non-technical. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Market insight. Direct experience in AI/ML, fraud, fintech and/or digital commerce will accelerate your success in this role; your expertise will influence key decisions around roadmap, go-to-market and more.
  • Communication skills. Consistent with the above responsibilities, we’ll be counting on you to share our roadmap, engage with analysts and speak at events.
  • Data-orientation. You like working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for customers generate balanced and thoughtful points of view for how to take our products to market
  • Curiosity: You are genuinely interested in customers and technology - and want to learn more about both. You learn the details of how our products work, the daily challenges customers have, and dive deep to become an expert.
  • A team player. This role collaborates across almost every team across the company. You are able to work across functions to drive alignment on plans and execute your work. 
  • 5-7 years of experience working in B2B technology in product marketing capacity; 10 years total experience, Enterprise go-to-market helpful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Hybrid work:

Salary Range: $153,000 - $207,000  annually + bonus + equity + benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level.
