This creates immense value for our customers as utilizing more of our products makes running their business easier. This profoundly impacts Workato’s business as creating more value for our customers drives higher retention and growth. Driving growth and usage by helping our customers find more value through products is critical to scaling our business. You’ll work with an established team of seasoned growth leaders in engineering, product, design, data science, marketing, and sales.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Be the domain expert for our product adoption customer experience.

  • Define, understand, and improve key funnels and metrics.

  • Build and manage the roadmap for product-led growth, onboarding, activation, and adoption activities.

  • Work closely with cross-functional leadership from the product, marketing, sales, success, and finance to deliver against key shared business goals.

  • Connect the dots across experiences and teams to create a cohesive customer experience.

  • Developing generalized messaging principles for when and how to use messaging across our different channels.

  • Launching new messaging channels and optimizing current channels to engage consumers inside and outside of Workato.

  • Seamlessly move between diving into the details––analyzing data, building models, getting into technical and design nuances––to strategy planning and presenting your work to senior leadership.

  • Ship minimum-viable products to test your hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience.

  • Capture insights from growth experiments' successes and failures, and communicate them to the broader team.

  • Partner across the organization to drive and evangelize experimentation and all things

  • Uncover and develop growth loops across different stages of the user journey.

  • Drive the product strategy, features, and experiments with a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and data scientists.

  • Rapidly execute and iterate, emphasizing user delight, impact, and learning. Regularly take risks and make calculated tradeoffs.

  • Technical solid foundation and ability to pick up and understand product/tech concepts (e.g., an engineering degree and product experience)

  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities (Excel required, SQL)

  • Expertise in creating product guides and tutorials using Pendo is a plus.

  • Strong communications skills are required – both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated record of working both independently and with a team to own cross-functional initiatives and exceed performance expectations & metrics

  • MBA or equivalent experience (e.g., management consulting) and technical undergrad degree (e.g., computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, economics)

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Ability to navigate and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, hyper-growth business environment with a track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Data and hypothesis-driven, business-minded. You know how to expertly leverage qualitative and quantitative data to develop and execute experiments and A/B tests optimized for learning. You can measure the business impact of your work and tie it back to company goals.

  • Customer obsessed. You’re passionate about hitting business goals and intimately knowing our customers, and creating the best experiences to meet their needs. You know that the key to business growth is through happy customers.

  • Collaborative execution. You’re a great listener and naturally bring the team and stakeholders along, yet you don’t hesitate to make hard decisions when needed. You push the pace, and people feel like they do their best work with you.

  • Objective learning. You get more excited when you’re wrong than when you’re right. You optimize for learning and love peeling back the layers. Your favorite questions are “why” and “why not.”

  • Systems thinking. You enjoy complex challenges and navigate them deftly. You have a wealth of frameworks and mental models that you rely on to unpack problems and arrive at elegant solutions.
