So, what’s the role all about?

As a Group Leader, you will join a high-performing engineering team, driving the development of the next generation of CXone Mpower Desktop Discovery. 

Your role will involve leading end-to-end development engineers and DevOps professionals, while ensuring smooth, high-quality product deliveries. You’ll also be accountable for supporting and maintaining our existing APA customers, tracking progress, and providing services.

The role demands both strategic and detailed thinking as the product encompasses numerous integrations and interfaces. You’ll need to create and execute development plans while maintaining a deep technical understanding of enterprise-grade product development, with an emphasis on customer experience and cloud technologies.

 

 

How will you make an impact?

  • Lead multiple scrum teams (14+ engineers) to deliver end-to-end product capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architects, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align on objectives and product vision.
  • Take full responsibility for the entire software development life cycle, from concept to deployment.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and quality of the product to ensure high standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, shaping the product's future by influencing its vision and encouraging creative solutions.
  • Enforce strong decision-making processes while ensuring clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Foster positive and productive relationships across teams, promoting a culture of collaboration.
  • Guide and support the development team to resolve complex technical challenges within tight deadlines.
  • Facilitate the technical and career development of team members through mentorship, training, and growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and technical clarity across teams.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of industry experience in R&D, with at least 3 years leading a high-performing team (10+ engineers) in a software product development environment.
  • Extensive experience with Agile methodologies or other iterative development techniques.
  • Mastery of the full development life cycle – from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience in mentoring team members and fostering their professional growth.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-grade software products that integrate seamlessly with other systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a knack for influencing and cooperating with peers.
  • High proficiency in English (both verbal and written), with experience in communicating effectively within a global organization.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and architecture is a significant advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude toward tackling challenges.
