Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.
We are currently looking for a Digital Group Head to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to manage the delivery of digital media/advertising planning for clients on search, social, programmatic, ecommerce, mobile.
Reporting of the role
This role primarily reports to the Partner – Digital.

Main Responsibilities:
- Become the client’s trusted advisor and the media consultant/expert for client’s media investments and solutions.
- Ensure your team's media plan recommendations (social media, mobile, programmatic) solve the client brief strategically with creativity and innovation.
- Working on media campaign reviews and recommendations (per campaign, monthly, annually, etc.)
- Drive thought leadership with pro-active analysis/solutions/recommendations.
- Keeping up-to-date with new developments in the field of ad tech.
- Keeping watch on daily/weekly/monthly client media campaign performance and giving the inputs for optimizations.
- Manage your team effectively to ensure client media campaign KPIs are achieved within agreed timeline and budget with minimal intervention from your direct manager.
- Creation of learning agenda for client
- Build strategic partnerships with media vendors/platforms that can benefit client’s business.
- Explore newer avenues of generating business (app downloads/ leads) for client
- Ensures client budgets are in line with agency revenue goals and you contribute to new business projects.
- Manage your team effectively to maintain team motivation and develop team members.
Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
- Integrated effectively and in good manner with clients, teams, vendors and partners
- Understood the client's overall business, Mindshare vision and ambition, our agency business model and the media industry.
- Understood what needs to be accomplished by your team to achieve client and agency goals and ensuring the team is aligned with it.
In six months, you would have:
- Managed your team effectively to ensure client media campaign KPIs are achieved within agreed timeline and budget with minimal intervention from your direct manager.
- Ensure client concerns are handled regularly with problem solving any campaign issues.
- Ensure timely reporting of campaign performance with quality insights and recommendations.
- Ensure each team member has clear goals and KPIs and establish ground-rules to ensure efficiency and success.
- Ensures client budgets are in line with agency revenue goals and you contribute to new business projects.
In twelve months, you would have:
- Grown existing client brands by selling ideas and company products to the client that are in line with their business goals.
- Map out new media/content opportunities that can lead to award winning pieces of work.
- Mentored and trained your team to be better at their core skills
- Deliver best in class insights & analytics for all digital campaigns.
- Have contributed to the Mindshare culture through participation and behavior that aligns to the Mindshare values
What you will need:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in digital media, performance, and programmatic buying (or a role that covers above knowledge areas)
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken)
- Experience in managing performance marketing campaigns/clients (including SEM)
- Well versed with FB Campaign manager, Google Ads, DV360/TTD, Google Analytics, Appsflyer/Branch, etc
- Experience of App marketing campaigns
- Ability to write digital media strategy presentations
- Ability to manage Clients
- Ability to manage and groom team members
- Experience in SEO will be considered an advantage
- Experience in audience planning or DCO will be considered an advantage
