Overview:
The Group FP&A Cashflow Manager will play a critical role in overseeing cash flow management and forecasting for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on cash flow management. This newly created role requires collaboration with various departments to understand transaction flows and analyse the trends in cash flows across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Cash flow budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Develop and maintain cash flow models to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed cash flow projections and manage liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Analyze cash flow trends and variances and investigate with multiple stakeholders. Clearly articulate the business drivers and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with various business units to develop understanding of transaction flows within the business and impact on cash flows, improving business insights.
- Coordinate with treasury and accounting teams to ensure alignment on cash management practices.
- Prepare monthly, YTD, and annual cash flow reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support the annual budgeting process with cash flow considerations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting cash management.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on cash flow management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across departments and building relationships.
- Proven experience in developing cash flow forecasts.
- Proficient in financial modelling and Excel; experience with software systems like PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to financial management.
- Organised, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
