What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a highly skilled Group Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting processes, ensure compliance with IFRS standards, and to drive the continuous improvement of the Group's internal controls and processes for a 12 month maternity contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of the group’s annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
  • Manage the annual report cycle, coordinating with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide input into Board & Audit Committee papers on financial performance and key accounting issues.
  • Assist in the production of statutory financial statements for legal entities.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical accounting issues, staying updated on changes in accounting standards.
  • Own the accounting processes for IFRS 16, share-based payments, and derivatives at month-end.
  • Liaise with senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to communicate financial performance.
  • Support the development and strengthening of the Group’s internal controls and processes.
  • Contribute to the Group’s budgeting and forecasting process, including for UK Corporate legal entities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights.

About you:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant
  • Ideally 5-7 years PQE within a listed IFRS Group
  • Experienced executing and delivering at pace with high attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills, prioritisation and effective project management mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including preparing board papers)
  • An analytical and problem-solving mind-set to understand, challenge and ask the relevant questions
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to work with senior management & stakeholders across varying functions
  • Workiva / Planful system experience is an advantage, but not essential
