Shape the Look and Feel of Educational Excellence  

Are you a talented creative with a passion for creating visually compelling educational materials? MasteryPrep is looking for a Designer to join our Academic Product Creation (APC) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Curriculum Developers and the Design Manager to bring our curriculum to life in both digital and print formats. You'll be a key player in our mission to level the educational playing field – working within a multidisciplinary team to develop engaging and effective educational materials that make a real difference in students' lives.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Design and layout print curriculum using Adobe InDesign.  
  • Create engaging slide presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.  
  • Generate figures and illustrations in Adobe Illustrator across multiple subjects.  
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere and assist with content loading into our learning platform.  
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Developers to align graphic elements with content across products.  
  • Work with the Design Manager to implement design standards for print books, slides, and videos.  
  • Participate in remote meetings using a webcam and microphone, including daily huddles, sprint planning sessions, and monthly department meetings.

  • Prioritize tasks and communication to meet team deadlines and deliverables.  
  • Maintain clear communication across teams to ensure timely and high-quality content completion.  
  • Contribute to building an inclusive, supportive, and positive work environment.  
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and earn exemplary performance reviews from leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience, specifically in page layout design. 
  • Excellent design and layout skills.  
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Strong organizational skills.  
  • Technological adaptability and willingness to learn.  
  • Receptivity to constructive feedback and new processes.   
  • High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.  
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or video editing preferred.  
  • Experience with Figma or other digital prototyping tools is a plus.  
  • Dedicated remote workspace with stable internet. 
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, and Microsoft and Google ecosystems.  
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Must be currently residing in one of the following U.S. States: AL, AR, CA, FL, GA, IL, KY, LA, MA, MI, MS, NY, NC, OK, SC, TN, or TX.
