Job Title: Graphic and Web Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. They will also be responsible for developing compelling web designs, including wireframes, icons, and branding packs using tools like Figma or Sketch. In addition, the role will involve contributing to the development and implementation of our brand guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity across all platforms. They will work with the communications and marketing teams to design marketing collateral like brochures, presentations, social media assets, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise Adobe Illustrator for vector-based designs and Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation and editing.
- InDesign Expertise to create, edit, and maintain high-quality design files for print and digital media.
- Design modern, user-centric web layouts and interfaces, including wireframes, and create visuals for websites that align with the company’s branding.
- Design custom graphic elements to support digital and print projects.
- Help develop, refine, and maintain our visual brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing, web, and communication materials.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and the overall creative direction for new design projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in print and digital design.
- Advanced skills in Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop. Experience in other Adobe applications and other design tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of web design principles, including wireframing, layout design, and familiarity with responsive design standards.
- Experience developing branding materials, including logos, colour schemes, typography, and brand guidelines.
- Strong eye for detail and the ability to produce visually cohesive and high-quality designs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of user interface and user experience (UX/UI) design is a plus.
