About the Role

Our client, a startup company specialising in artisanal handmade food products is seeking a freelance product label designer and branding specialist. This is a single project with the potential for follow-up work. The freelancer will be required to work remotely, and the company is prepared to make a paid hire. They are searching for a mid-level designer and prefer to receive offers from interested candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually appealing and brand-consistent product labels for the company's handmade food product line.
  • Collaborate with the company's team to understand their brand identity, target audience, and design requirements.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, design styles, and consumer preferences to inform the label design process.
  • Develop various label design concepts and present them to the company for feedback and approval.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a product label designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful label design projects.
  • Expertise in branding principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines and design specifications.
