Graphic Designer

General Description: 

Blackline Safety is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. You’ll be a key contributor to bringing our brand to life across a variety of media and formats—including print, digital, presentations, integrated campaign content, sales collateral, product packaging, motion graphics, and video.  

With strong design skills and digital savvy, you’ll create visually compelling designs that elevate our brand and marketing efforts. You’re passionate about transforming marketing objectives into bold, creative strategies and are always ready to advise on trends, creative solutions and audience engagement.  As a valued member of the creative services team, you’ll collaborate with other creatives such as our art director, copywriters, video editors and content specialists. You’ll also work directly with stakeholders and decision makers, to deliver designs that resonate and drive results.  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience (agency or in-house) with a solid portfolio showcasing a variety of creative work 

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field. 

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat Pro) along with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word 

• Knowledge of responsive web design and UX best practices  

• Ability to conceptualize, present and execute sales and marketing content from ideation to final production. 

• Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities 

• Knowledge of B2B marketing and the ability to translate marketing objectives into impactful visual stories.  

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail – especially when it comes to small details in your design work and final file production 

• Experience with HubSpot CMS platform a plus 

• Experience in motion graphics, video editing or product packaging is an asset and highly valued. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and produce consistent on-brand, high-impact creative assets across print and digital channels, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence.  

• Create graphics, design elements, and treatments that convey compelling messages designed to convert and drive action across all mediums 

• Work alongside the art director, copywriters and content teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that align with our strategy and resonate with target audiences  

• Translate marketing objectives into creative designs, adapt visuals based on feedback, and optimize assets for various platforms, including web, social, presentations, etc.  

• Keep up with design trends and emergency technologies to ensure our creative output remains fresh, relevant and innovative.  

• Actively apply and share best practices with the team 

• Other design duties as required
