Government Relations Associate

  • Engage with city government officials, council members, and other stakeholders to support Beam’s operations
  • Continuously monitor changes in the policy landscape and evaluate their potential impact on Beam operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Operations, PR, BD, CS) to ensure smooth business operations
  • Research to provide insights to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), including the ability to convey complex technical concepts both orally and in writing in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments, manage competing demands and work under the pressure of frequent and tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience with government agencies or government relations/ public affairs roles from the private sector.
  • Interest in transportation, urban planning, sustainable mobility, and smart city policies.
  • Excellent communication skills in Korean and English
