Censys is hiring a

Government Marketing Manager

Tysons, United States

Censys knows the internet and cloud better than anyone else. Attack Surface Management provides customers with an attacker-centric view of all externally facing internet and cloud to extend visibility, prioritize, and remediate the most critical risk exposures that will actually lead to a breach. Our daily IPv4 scans and the world’s largest SSL/TLS Certificate database enables customers with the most accurate and continuously updated attack surfaces. Enterprise security teams leverage Censys to keep pace with the speed of the business and gain an advantage on the rapidly evolving cyber-attack threats.

Censys ingests millions of certificates and billions of network handshakes daily and exposes this data to customers to help them secure their organization by understanding their network attack surface. We’re a series-C scale-up with midwestern roots and a brilliant academia-backed founding team. We’re looking for a high-energy, action-oriented person who is interested in helping build a product and culture that we’re proud of for years to come.

  • Customer Relationship Development: Support sales efforts by creating targeted programs that build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers.

What You'll Bring:

  • Government Sector Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing to government agencies, with a deep understanding of the Federal acquisition process, fiscal year buying cycles, and relevant platforms.
  • Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience successfully running a government marketing strategy integrating events, marketing campaigns, demand generation programs, policy aligned content within the public sector, and driving measurable outcomes in lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in marketing tools and platforms, such as Salesforce (SFDC), Asana, SEO, and digital marketing channels, with a strong data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • High Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus on high-impact projects.
