As a Google Cloud PreSales Consultant and Program Manager you will blend exciting tasks in business development, business enablement, and program management to drive the growth and success of our Google Cloud initiatives. You like to work proactively and agilely, you are passionate about cloud technology, and skilled in strategic thinking? You might also understand the developments in the area of Cloud Native Applications and Container Technologies, and like to work with the latest tools from the Open-Source community? Then join our team and actively shape the development of our practice for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)!


What awaits you with us:

Business Development// Enablement

  • Technical Presales: You are responsible for the technical presales engagements and the evangelization of Google Cloud Solutions, both public GCP as well as our Sovereign offerings. You will drive and promote the necessary architecture discussions to ensure that our solutions meet the requirements of the customer.
  • Technical Guidance: Collaborate with technical teams and solution architects to provide technical guidance, architecture reviews, and recommendations to customers, ensuring successful implementation and optimization of cloud solutions.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for our customers within the Google Alliance team, advocating for their needs, priorities, and interests, and driving resolution of issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Customer Adoption: Drive adoption of Google cloud technologies and services within our customer base, providing guidance, best practices, and resources to help them maximize the value of their cloud investments.
  • Value Realization: Work closely with customers to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and identify opportunities to leverage Google cloud solutions to address their needs and drive business outcomes.
  • Solution Enablement: Provide internal & external training, workshops, and educational resources to empower internal & external customers to effectively utilize Google Solutions, services, and capabilities to meet their business goals.

Program Management

  • Google Partner Status Maintenance: Maintain Google Partner status and develop business plans. Manage stakeholder relationships, including partner management with Google and affiliate support.
  • Audit Planning & Execution: Plan and execute audits to maintain our Partner Status.
  • Marketing Activities: Design, plan, and execute internal and external marketing activities with Google as a partner, including customer and Google networking events.
  • Google Cloud Community Management: Manage the internal Google Cloud community to increase collaboration and knowledge sharing. Organize and chair weekly alignment meetings and prepare for Google community calls. Collect and create program management topics to present them in monthly Google community calls.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create and manage content such as pitch decks, one-pagers, statements of work (SoW), customer success stories, and website content to ensure sales enablement.
  • Program Management and cross-functional collaboration: Drive the development of our Google Cloud portfolio to fulfill our joint business plan with Google. In alignment with cross-functional teams on various initiatives you design and execute internal and external initiatives to increase Google Cloud awareness within our company.

 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the IT industry or telecommunications; ideally you already have extensive experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Distinctive practical expertise in designing and proposing solutions that answer customer problems, preferably in an international environment and in cooperation with intercultural teams.
  • A lot of curiosity and a high interest in the latest technologies, especially in cloud, agile methods and DevOps; willingness to enter unknown territory, to make mistakes and to learn from them together.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships, aligning individual stakeholder targets with organizational goals.
  • Highly motivated and persuasive; track record in delivering results even in conflictual situations.
  • Strong in communication on technical and related commercial topics
  • Fluent English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
