What We Expect From You
We’re looking for a talented GA4 Analytics Specialist who brings a combination of technical skills, analytical expertise, and strong communication abilities. Here’s what we need from you:
Google Analytics 4 Expertise: Experience in setting up, configuring, and optimizing GA4 accounts, including custom event tracking, user properties, audiences, and funnels. Skilled in GA4’s data model, creating reports, and using Explorations to gain insights.
Conversion & Goal Tracking: Ability to define and implement conversion goals and event-based tracking, helping us measure and improve user engagement and conversions.
Google Tag Manager Proficiency: Extensive experience with GTM, including setting up, testing, and troubleshooting GA4 tags, custom event tracking, and advanced configurations. Knowledge of data layer variables and custom tags to capture additional insights is essential.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Proven ability to interpret analytics data and provide actionable insights that can drive user experience improvements, boost engagement, and optimize conversion rates.
Funnel & Attribution Analysis: Skilled in analyzing user journeys, conversion funnels, and attribution models within GA4 to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
Knowledge of SQL and/or BigQuery (desirable): Familiarity with SQL to run custom queries, especially if GA4 data is exported to BigQuery for advanced analysis.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce Knowledge: Understanding of various digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, social media, email) and their impact on traffic and conversions. Experience with e-commerce tracking in GA4, including purchase, add-to-cart, and checkout events, as well as customer lifetime value (LTV).
Reporting & Data Visualization: Ability to create clear, comprehensive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio, connecting data from GA4, BigQuery, and other sources. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation is also required.
Basic HTML & JavaScript: A foundational understanding of HTML and JavaScript is helpful for troubleshooting and implementing advanced tracking.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & UX Knowledge: Familiarity with CRO strategies and UX best practices is a plus.
Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and discrepancies in data. You should be detail-oriented with a solution-focused mindset.
Communication & Collaboration: Ability to present complex analyses in a clear, actionable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English are required; Hungarian is a plus.
Self-Motivation & Adaptability: Able to manage projects and deadlines independently while also working effectively in a team environment. Open to learning and adapting to new GA4 features as they evolve.
