Manager – Implementation Planning, GroupM Nexus Global Team, India

We are currently looking for a Manager - Implementation Planning to join us. As part of the largest media agency in India, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage the scale that comes with the job. You will become an integral part of this growing team and will be working with both internal teams and external parties to ensure campaign delivery objectives are met.
PRACTICE SUMMARY:
Media Planning are experts on the paid media landscape and how consumers interact with it. We architect and steward holistic media plans throughout their lifecycle, owning the creation of overall plans, cross-channel budget allocation, in flight cross-channel optimisation & reporting and post-campaign analysis. We are our clients’ key contacts for a unified view across all aspects of their campaigns, narrating the story of the campaign from planning recommendation through to PCA.
ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for oversight of the offshore V and U bands. This includes training and ongoing work quality. Regular two-way feedback is needed with onshore planning and pod leads covering workload and team performance. Planning Managers are responsible for the QA of all E2E media planning tasks across brand and performance media to ensure work is being delivered consistently accurately & on-time.

Operationally responsible for training and execution of olive, trafficking, creative management, launch and in-flight optimization management.
SOME OF THE THINGS WE’D LIKE YOU TO DO
Drive operations
● Expert on processes such as Blueprint 3.75 Olive, trafficking, plan updates, reporting
● Expert on utilization of planning tools & industry resources across the E2E process (i.e., PFC, screengrabs etc.)
● Excellent organizational skills, close attention to detail and ability to quality control work.
Ensures assigned responsibilities complete
● Ability to oversee assigned tasks
● Actively participates & contributes to broader conversations offshore ways of working
● Task mentorship/shadowing
● Training planning execs to learn and execute responsibilities above their current skill set. Basic spreadsheet capability (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) are a must.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
● 3-5 years of B2B program marketing experience, preferably in the technology field; enterprise infrastructure software marketing experience is a huge plus
● In-depth knowledge of media planning principles, techniques, and best practices across various channels (digital & social)
● Familiarity with media buying, negotiation, and contract management.
● Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and metrics to make data-driven decisions.
● Proficiency in using media planning and tracking tools (Marketo, Convertr or Data Studio is a plus)
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
● Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
● Up to date with the latest trends and innovations in marketing and advertising.
