Overview:
The Gracenote Sports Content team keeps track of 3,000 leagues across 200 different sports. This data is delivered in multiple languages to media clients, international sports federations and national sports governing bodies. Our live sports data can also be seen on smart TVs and in cars.

We are seeking a skilled Regional Sports Planner to join our Global Sports Planning team, supporting multiple teams worldwide.

About The Role:
A passion for sports, leadership, and data collection, is what we are looking for in a Global Sports Planner for the Gracenote Sports Content team. Together with a team of supervisors you will support and coordinate our Live Data Production (LDP) team that captures live sports data from mostly Latin American soccer
Responsibilities:
• You will join a team of 4 regional planners, 1 senior global planner and a Team leader.
• Create, assign and manage shifts (changes and trades) for the live data production teams. Guaranteeing a 100% coverage rate for all shifts
• Support local teams with organizing training for new hires and additional training for part-time staff.
• You will have to collaborate with local LDP teams to understand their needs and leverage talent and knowledge available in each location.
• Solve complex planning puzzles which will test your problem solving skills and your creativity.
• You understand the differences between different sporting events and you are able to adapt our schedules to meet the required needs.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must be a Graduate in any field
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with creating and maintaining work schedules.
• Ability to handle challenges and find efficient solutions to complex problems.
• Technical proficiency with scheduling applications and Google Suite.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
• Familiarity with professional sports and an understanding of the nuances between different sports events
• Open attitude towards learning more about sports.
• Flexible scheduling between 8:00 and 22:00, Monday through Sunday.
• The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s Mexico City office. Work from home is possible if an adequate workplace for working with live sports is available.

• Able to deal with stress and time pressure, and able to make quick decisions.
• Able to identify reliable, accurate data from sources.
• Solid communication and time-management skills required
• Has excellent computer skills
• Has excellent written and verbal English skills.
