We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager to lead the 24/7 security operations that safeguard our global workforce, facilities, and assets. As the GSOC Manager, you will lead the daily operations of a security monitoring center and lead Global Security crisis response initiatives. This is a strategic role that will involve coordinating with various internal and external partners to protect the safety and security of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead GSOC Operations:
    Lead and supervise the day-to-day activity of a global GSOC, ensuring continuous monitoring of security incidents, alarm systems, and response activities.

  • Incident and Emergency Response:
    Lead the design and execution of the incident response and crisis management program. Own incident severity levels (SEV levels) and response SOPs, ensuring the team is ready to address any security threat. Act as the primary decision-maker during incidents, coordinating with a variety of partners. Ensure incidents are handled per protocol and conduct regular audits and reviews to improve response effectiveness.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Provide guidance and oversight to contingent workers, ensuring they have the crucial skills, knowledge, and tools to respond to security threats effectively. Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure contingent workers receive regular training and support to maintain a high standard of operational readiness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with global security teams, IT, HR, and other internal departments to develop incident management strategies ensuring alignment in response efforts.

  • Technology & Systems Oversight:
    Be responsible for all GSOC technologies and systems, including video surveillance, alarm systems, access control, and communication platforms, ensuring they are fully operational and up to date.

  • Vendor Management:
    Liaise with external security vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery. Lead the process for Request for Proposals (RFPs) when selecting vendors, supervise the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess vendor performance and ensure alignment with operational goals. Ensure that all vendors meet contractual obligations and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to security operations.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Provide regular data-driven insights, incident reports, and performance metrics to senior management to enhance security operations.

  • Process Improvement:
    Continuously refine GSOC processes, SOPs, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with best industry practices in global security.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or related fields (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a GSOC leadership role.

  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in security systems (e.g., surveillance, access control, incident management platforms) and crisis communication tools.

  • Management Experience:
    Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced security environment. Strong people management, coaching, and team-building abilities.

  • Incident Response Expertise:
    Consistent record to lead and handle security incidents, crisis situations, and emergency responses. Strong decision-making skills under pressure.

  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively brief senior leadership during crises and provide regular performance updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional security certifications (CPP, PSP, CISSP) are highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of business continuity, crisis management, and emergency preparedness.

The salary range for this position is $105,400 - $155,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
