Your Career

As the architect of our newly developed extensive Sales Onboarding Program, you will play a pivotal role in setting the stage for the success of our new sellers at Palo Alto Networks. This role is designed for a visionary who is passionate about crafting an immersive onboarding experience, both in-person and virtually, that not only educates but also inspires our sales force.

Your Impact

  • Orchestrate - Lead our comprehensive, 10-week onboarding journey for new sellers, focusing on everything from value-based selling to mastering negotiation tactics, delivered through a blend of virtual and in-person sessions
  • Innovate - Develop and continuously refine training pathways specifically designed for new sellers, ensuring they align with our sales goals and the dynamic landscape of cybersecurity sales
  • Deliver - Facilitate engaging, impactful live and virtual sales onboarding sessions, laying a solid foundation for the success of our new sellers
  • Collaborate - Partner with subject matter experts and sales leaders to define content that bolsters skill development and practical application in the sales field
  • Analyze - Monitor the effectiveness and impact of the onboarding program, providing key insights and reports to sales leadership
  • Refine - Regularly evaluate and refine the onboarding experience, ensuring it remains cutting-edge and effective for each new cohort of sellers

Your Experience

  • Skilled Facilitator - Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering both in-person and virtual sales onboarding sessions, specifically with a focus on enterprise sales environments
    • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales training or facilitation is required, with a preference for candidates who have led comprehensive onboarding programs
  • Sales Experience - You've been in sales related roles before, understanding the challenges and triumphs of the field
  • Knowledgeable Educator - You're well-versed in adult learning principles and know how to apply them to create engaging learning experiences
  • Project Management - Demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects with a keen ability to navigate the intricacies of collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Data-Oriented - Your decisions are driven by data, with a strong background in managing and evaluating training programs
  • Adaptable and Independent - You're at ease working closely with others or handling projects on your own, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Team Player - You excel in working collaboratively, solving problems, and contributing to a united team effort
  • Willingness to Travel - Open to remote candidates, with the requirement to travel to our HQ office for two consecutive weeks each month to facilitate in-person sessions and collaborate with the team

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $97,400/yr to $157,500/yr.
