The Global Regulatory and ESG Compliance Manager will drive ESG programs within the supply chain, focusing on human rights, environmental standards, and sustainable practices. This role includes staying current with global regulations, conducting gap assessments, and ensuring compliance with standards like CSRD, CSDDD, RoHS, and REACH. The manager will oversee accurate reporting of supply chain compliance data, contributing to ESG and CSRD reports, and coordinate responses to customer and distributor inquiries. This position is key to embedding human rights due diligence, enhancing sustainability, and supporting the company’s long-term regulatory and ESG goals.
Your Impact
- Develop and Lead ESG Programs - Build and execute comprehensive ESG programs that align with the company’s long-term sustainability goals, focusing on human rights and environmental standards across the supply chain
- Regulatory Gap Assessments - Conduct gap analyses between current processes and evolving regulatory standards such as CSRD, CSDDD, and ESG frameworks
- Monitor Global Regulations - Stay up-to-date with global regulations requiring lab testing, identifying changes that impact product compliance such as RoHS, PFAS, REACH, etc.
- Compliance Maintenance - Oversee and implement necessary changes to meet compliance requirements, ensuring the company adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards
- Sustainability & Human Rights
- Circular Economy & Waste Management - Support the implementation of initiatives focused on sustainability, including circular economy strategies and downstream waste management
- Human Rights Due Diligence - Ensure human rights due diligence is embedded across the value chain, with a focus on ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, and compliance with international standards
- Human Rights Assessments - Conduct assessments to identify and close gaps between current processes and international human rights frameworks, working to improve ethical practices
- Risk Identification - Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to ESG compliance, human rights violations, and sustainability within the supply chain. Develop actionable strategies for addressing these risks
- Supply Chain Reporting & Documentation
- Reporting to Leadership - Prepare detailed ESG reports, metrics, and insights for executive leadership and other key decision-makers
- Compliance Documentation - Manage and maintain all compliance-related data, ensuring accurate, auditable documentation that meets regulatory requirements
- Annual ESG Reporting - Oversee the preparation and submission of the supply chain-related inputs for the company’s annual ESG report, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of supply chain data
- CSRD Compliance - Ensure all necessary documentation and reporting related to the supply chain's role in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is properly maintained and submitted
- Customer & Internal Requests
- Customer Support - Respond to customer inquiries regarding risk, compliance, and ESG matters, ensuring timely, consistent, and comprehensive communication
- Internal Process Management - Establish and manage processes to efficiently handle large-scale requests from distributors and other internal stakeholders
- Internal Tools & FAQs - Regularly update the company’s internal tools with frequently asked questions and key information to streamline customer and distributor responses
Your Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in ESG, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, or ethical sourcing, with a focus on global regulations and sustainability initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of global regulations, including CSRD, CSDDD, RoHS, REACH, and emerging frameworks such as PFAS restrictions
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive ESG initiatives across global supply chains
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including reporting, documentation, and customer inquiries
- Strong understanding of human rights due diligence processes, ethical sourcing practices, and circular economy principles
- Proven experience conducting regulatory gap assessments and implementing compliance strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and ESG requirements into actionable strategies

This role reports to our Supply Chain and Worldwide Operations group. Our Operations team has extensive business and project-management experience in the contract manufacturing industry. This team has a dedication to, and a consistent track record of, success in all aspects of supply-chain and project management.
Our operations team leadership establishes clear objectives, defining and implementing profit improvement and profiling inventory management, valuation, and lead-time improvement programs. Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $114000 - $186000/YR.
