The Global Commerce team is a new and growing part of ASOS, integral to the Company strategy to be a truly Global Retailer. Within the ASOS network we have three fulfilment centres in Barnsley, UK, Berlin, Germany and Atlanta, USA. The Global team are responsible for profiling and managing the stock levels held by each fulfilment centre across all departments, working closely with merchandising to manage intake and forecasting and trading the stock levels and working with logistics to ensure the smooth process of delivery. The Global Planning Administrator will support the team to help manage stock profiles between all global fulfilment centres.

What you'll be doing...

  • Producing reporting for the Global Planning team to analyse sales and support the trading of the warehouses to ensure sales are met
  • Supporting the Buying & Merchandising function through training of all aspects specific to the fulfilment centres
  • Supporting the team in trading bestsellers between warehouses
  • Understanding the International markets we trade from our fulfilment centres and our global competitors
  • Building relationships with supply chain and Buying & Merchandising to manage the various intake routes into our FCs
  • Working closing with the Buying & Merchandising teams to resolve issues with intake and communicate delays to the Global Assistant Planners to manage the impact.

        We'd love to meet someone with...

        • Previous experience of working in the fashion industry is preferred ideally as a Merchandising Administrator, Allocator or International MAA
        • Awareness of current trends and what is happening in retail
        • High organisation skills, able to use initiative and to work in pressurised environment
        • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels
        • Keen attention to detail
        • Computer literate able to use both word and excel applications to an intermediate/advanced level
        • High numerical competency
        • Flexible, self motivated and enthusiastic
