TEAM OVERVIEW

The Treasury Department supports global teams of the KKR brand across all business lines, support functions, regions and various vendors associated with KKR. A successful candidate will have the ability to execute projects, assess risk, determine root causes, recommend solutions, and build strong relationships across all levels of seniority within the firm. KKR's Treasury team partners with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity, add value, protect the firm, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes. The position is based in our Gurugram location. 

POSITION SUMMARY

The role is directly responsible for overseeing the governance steps on the day to day activities in preparation of a Funds Flow Memorandum (“FFM”). The FFM is a key internal control document that is used as a supporting document to process cash flows for all KKR private markets transactions globally. It is currently prepared on an application called Workiva, which serves as a data secure environment for managing the sensitive information that is collated as part of a funds flow process, significantly reducing email traffic and reliance on emails for the exchange of such information. This role provides frequent exposure to various internal and external stakeholders across all regions and offices and also has the opportunity to drive impactful changes, as we look to build a Centre of Excellence (“COE”) and deliver several enhancements to the FFM preparation process.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all deliverables on the FFM meet quality, consistency and accuracy standards under transaction timelines
  • Own and manage the monitoring of pipeline of deals in relation to the preparation of FFM to completion for all private market transaction
  • Manage communication with global teams to stay updated on the timeline and requirements of transactions
  • Assigning user access rights on Workiva for all FFM, ensuring rights are provided in accordance to control matrix
  • Maintain oversight over the FFM preparation process, ensuring all users adhere to documented framework
  • Understand the inputs and key drivers over how to prepare an FFM smoothly and successfully on Workiva
  • Verbalize and drive process improvement initiatives and implementation along with collaborating with the global teams
  • Liaise with global teams and support ongoing projects, system integration, perform UAT, as needed
  • Updating control process documentation over the FFM preparation process
  • Own ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Owns and drives change initiatives

Stakeholder Management

  • Interact with the team and the managers from global teams on a regular basis to understand their requirements, reporting needs and possible bottlenecks
  • Act as a point of escalation for all queries
  • Manage Process Metrics, KPIs, or other dashboards as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of experience in similar roles and understands requirements for financial organizations
  • Experience working effectively with others in a team setting and able to build constructive relationships
  • Demonstrate experience in driving change and challenging the status quo
  • Understands different Fund Structures and how Private Equity transactions work
  • Comfortable working with large set of ambiguous data and giving it a structure
  • Experience in a multinational Finances Services organization and/or Private Equity preferred
  • Ability to assess, and apply controls and a range of control frameworks
  • Strong risk mindset with ability to detect & evaluate risk factors and assist and review mitigation of identified risks
  • Systems/Tools/Application knowledge:
  • Tools: Smartsheets, Excel, PowerPoint, Workiva, Hazeltree
  • Strong understanding of Treasury workflows
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and management
  • Displays high intellectual curiosity and innovative mindset
