THE WORK:
Ripple Labs is growing its BSA/AML compliance team and seeks to hire a Analyst, Global Investigations. Ripple is committed to augmenting its AML programs to ensure maximum compliance with money services business (MSB) regulatory obligations. We are passionate about improvements to global transaction analytical tools for effective monitoring of MSB transaction activity as well as activity across the Ripple protocol!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Assist the Global Investigations Manager in coordinating and supervising day-to-day activities of the Money Service Businesses including investigations, transaction analysis, and case management
- Perform periodic evaluation of internal controls and recommend solutions for identified risks
- Use a variety of analytical techniques and systems to make informed decisions on detected transaction patterns
- Ensure the timely filing of reports with FinCEN
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal direction inside a team environment
- Be committed to developing standard processes and tools for effective transaction monitoring and investigations of unusual activity
- Work closely with Engineering, Product and Data teams on efforts to improve existing monitoring tools for efficient detection of suspicious activity, patterns, trends, etc.
- Be passionate about using data and software tools to prevent and detect AML/OFAC risk and other types of unlawful activity on the Ripple protocol.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Hands on AML transaction monitoring and investigations experience, preferably in an innovative environment
- Experience collaborating with partners across technical and non-technical groups
- Experience defining requirements for AML transaction monitoring and detection of suspicious activity
