About the role
As the Global Head of Energy (m/f/d) at tado° you are the primary person who is responsible for successfully growing our European energy business in connection with tado°’s business purpose to drive down our customer’s energy bill. In this position you will manage all our energy activities i.e. Sales, energy procurement, risk management, customer service of our energy tariff offerings (dynamic tariff, PV feed in tariffs) and report directly to the CEO of tado°.
The purpose of this newly established position is to
- Fast scale up of our existing business in Germany and Austria
- Expand into tado°’s other core markets such as France, UK, Netherlands within the next 24 months (organically, inorganically or through partnerships)
- Link our tariff offering to tado°’s offer space - e.g. integrated offering of our heat pump control interface with a dynamic tariff
Your areas of responsibility
- Full P&L responsibility of our Profit Center energy including Awattar GmbH
- Scaling and expanding our energy business across Europe with a flexibility to grow organically or via partnerships
- Assuring integration of our energy tariffs (dynamic consumption & feed-in) into our energy management cosmos around software and our hardware products (Heat pump optimizer..)
- Representing the Energy segment towards all external and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- You are an entrepreneur with a track record in scaling business and digital mergers
- You have extensive experience in Energy Sales and Operations, ideally also with dynamic Tariffs and SaaS
- You are a value oriented team player and modern leader that has proven his leadership skills in a cross functional, multicultural team for at least 5 years
- You are highly customer centric, target oriented and bring a business approach that is flexible
- You are fluent in German and English, any other European language is a plus
- You don´t mind to travel between Munich and Vienna
