The office will contain multifunctional business capabilities and will be integral in furthering the growth and transformation of KKR.

POSITION SUMMARY

The role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the private equity fund. This entails managing the day-to-day administration of the fund, including investor relations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This is a full time five days work from office role based in our Gurugram office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing / reviewing capital calls and distributions across the portfolio with a particular focus on Real Estate
  • Responsible for preparing/reviewing transactions in Investran (cash, new investments, sales, capital calls, distributions, etc.)
  • Oversee quarterly management fee calculations for certain funds
  • Manage and maintain several funds’ line of credit
  • Coordinate with external banks to facilitate borrowing requests for new investments
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly close deliverables
  • Calculate and monitor fund remaining commitments
  • Assist with structuring and onboarding new private equity funds into the Investran accounting system.
  • Assist with annual external audit for Private Funds inquiries
  • Liaise with Valuations and Reporting Teams on various tasks
  • Assist in driving accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives
  • Create and maintain carry waterfall models
  • Prepare ad hoc reports, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Accounting / Finance major preferred
  • Prior Private Equity/Real Estate Fund Administration experience,  a plus
  • Strong finance business acumen - quickly be able to understand our business and its complexities
  • Strong interpersonal skills- ability to quickly build relationships and work well across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and experience with Investran a plus
  • Team player, ability to network across groups (Finance, IT, Business, Tax, Legal)
  • Clear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, having shown comfort with the ambiguity of an evolving, dynamic firm
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented, very organized and pro-active in executing responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage and complete multiple priorities on time with minimal direction
  • Willing to work beyond normal business hours, as needed
