Position Overview

The Manager, Global Facilities is a key leadership role at project44, tasked with overseeing a team that supports the company's global corporate facilities. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including Food Services, Internal Events, Building Security, Operating Suppliers, Travel/Hotels, Construction, Architecture, Fixtures & Furniture, Renewable Energy, Utilities, Post-Consumer Waste, Mobility (vehicles/bikes), and Fitness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational management of all facility-related functions, ensuring an optimal working environment that aligns with project44’s culture and operational goals. 

What you will work on: 

The Manager, Global Facilities will act as a visionary leader and strategic change agent, committed not only to the operational aspects of facilities management but also to nurturing and promoting project44’s culture. You will play a critical role in creating spaces that foster collaboration, innovation, well-being, and a sense of community, reflecting the company’s ethos. Your responsibilities will include integrating technology and sustainable practices to develop efficient, environmentally responsible workspaces that support the company’s dynamic needs and cultural values. 

Who you will work with: 

You will collaborate closely with local leaders and the Global Expansion Team to ensure that facility requirements are met with the highest standards, supporting project44’s growth while embodying the company’s values. As a culture carrier, your role involves aligning facility management strategies with the company’s broader business goals, emphasizing the creation of a cohesive and empowering work environment for all employees. 

What you bring: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, with a Graduate Degree in Business preferred. 
  • Over 10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, and particularly Facilities Management, with a deep focus on fostering company culture. 
  • Proven experience in Facilities Safety & Security, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees. 
  • Demonstrated success in leading change, driving innovation, and achieving significant cost savings and operational efficiencies in a continuous improvement environment. 
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, capable of aligning facility management strategies with the company’s cultural and operational objectives. 
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, respect, and safety. 
  • An intuitive grasp of company culture and employee engagement, with a track record of implementing initiatives that enhance workplace satisfaction, productivity, and security. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement global facilities management strategies that emphasize sustainability, efficiency, safety, and cultural alignment. 
  • Establish and maintain workspaces that encourage collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of community, while ensuring the safety and security of all employees. 
  • Engage with various levels of the organization to ensure that the facilities management strategy supports the evolving culture and needs of the company. 
  • Oversee contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring that services and amenities contribute to a positive, safe, and engaging work environment. 
  • Lead sustainability and technology initiatives in facility operations, promoting environmental responsibility and operational excellence. 
  • Act as a culture carrier and advocate for safety and security, participating in initiatives that strengthen the organizational identity and ensure a secure working environment for everyone at project44.
