We empower hundreds of digitally-focused companies to deliver outcomes and exceptional campaign performance everyday. StackAdapt was founded with a vision to be more than an advertising platform, it’s a hub of innovation, imagination and creativity.

As the Global  Director, People Business Partners, you hold the crucial responsibility of providing strategic and operational leadership to our global People Business Partner as they support our rapid growth. This encompasses collaborating and advising our senior leadership to formulate and implement HR strategies that effectively drive ambitious business results. Reporting into our VP People, Natalia Vassilieva, you’ll lead a growing team of 10+ PBPs and managers around the globe. Our People Business Partner function assumes the strategic role of advising and partnering with business leaders, offering comprehensive support and insights on a broad spectrum of people-related issues and strategic initiatives. This involves in-depth collaboration and proactive involvement in devising and executing business-driven HR solutions that contribute to the organization's overall success and growth. You will be responsible for setting the right vision, direction, and environment for the team to meet their potential. This role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, extensive knowledge of modern HR best practices, strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies at scale.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establish strong partnerships with executives to understand their objectives and challenges, and identify high-impact opportunities to improve our chances to hit bold growth goals.
  • Set the vision, build, and lead a team of highly collaborative and effective People Business Partners.
  • Embody our spirit of caring deeply for our people and taking action to improve their success and careers.
  • Proactively engage with senior leadership, demonstrating high responsibility and influence in matters critical to our team members' success, engagement, and retention.
  • Contribute to our broader People strategy across our growing COE’s (Talent, Total Rewards, People Ops, L&D etc) to shape strategies and policies that continue to elevate StackAdapt as the best place for employees to grow their career.
  • Support all parts of the business, by diving into strategic discussions with leaders and understanding the core business mechanics that underpin each function in creating value for our customers.
  • Manage particularly complex and sensitive employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
  • Role model and champion of StackAdapt values, a key figure in maintaining a commitment to our core values through our People practices as we scale.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to leaders as appropriate; also mentor other People team members.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A wealth of professional experience in strategic HR capacity, in a high-growth, culture-first environment. Whilst direct software/technology experience is not required, it is certainly an asset. Exposure to digital marketing or AdTech will also be highly valued.
  • Well developed leadership experience in leading and inspiring a distributed, global team in multiple time zones and regions.
  • Comfort talking to business fundamentals, including P&L statements, and alignment of HR policies and strategies to company goals.
  • Strong focus on using data to shape our policies and decisions, including identifying and implementing key leading and lagging metrics to help improve our decision making.
  • Paragon of integrity and ethical best practices. You set the standard and must be unimpeachable in your approach to all situations.
  • Willingness to rise to any challenge with a  positive outlook that inspires and invigorates those around you to reach new heights.
