🗨️ About the Team & Position
- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Strategic and Product Marketing for our Oncology Group to lead the marketing efforts for our groundbreaking AI-powered oncology solutions.
- This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and plans that drive growth in both biopharma and clinical segments.
- This position will be a remote role based in the US and will report directly to the Global VP of Product Management and Marketing for Lunit Oncology.

🚩 Roles & Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, competition, and customer needs in the precision oncology and AI-medical device/ diagnostic space
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with product teams to drive product differentiation and market penetration
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to generate deep insights regarding customer segmentation, driver and barriers to adoption, evidence-generation needs, etc.
- Product Positioning, Messaging, and Content Development:
- Define the positioning of Lunit's oncology products within the market to ensure differentiation and alignment with customer needs
- Craft compelling messaging to effectively communicate the value proposition and applications of our products with both biopharma and clinical segments
- Take complex scientific and clinical data and simplify the insights into persuasive content that resonates with stakeholders
- Go-to-Market Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development of global go-to-market plans, including segmentation, targeting, and pricing strategies
- Collaborate with marcom, business development, sales, and medical affairs to ensure successful product launches
- Sales Enablement and KOL Engagement:
- Work closely with product, marcom, business development, sales, and medical affairs teams to develop effective sales aids, training, and educational materials to support the sales process
- Collaborate with medical affairs to conduct KOL advisory boards to gain insights into clinical needs and validate product/ go-to-market strategies
Requirements
🎯 Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in strategic or product marketing within the healthcare, biotech, or diagnostic industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (advanced degrees in biology-related fields preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing innovative precision oncology products to biopharma and/ or clinical segments
- Strong understanding of the oncology market, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts and clinical data to diverse audiences
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with demonstrated success in developing successful marketing strategies and plans that drive business growth
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
🏅 Preferred Experiences
- MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Life Sciences
- Experience marketing AI-powered healthcare solutions or precision oncology products
- Knowledge of biomarkers, companion diagnostics, or immuno-oncology
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for marketing medical devices or diagnostics
- Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Familiarity with working in a ‘start-up’ environment
