About the Role

Mixpanel is seeking an experienced Customer Programs Marketer to lead the development and execution of our Customer Program activities across the globe. This person will work with the cross line of business stakeholders to support a number of customer programs currently in place including: 

  • Customer Advisory Boards, 
  • Customer Forums
  • Customer Connect events
  • Customer webinar series - In Conversation with
  • Customer Case Studies
  • Customer Reference Program

We’re looking for a strategic marketer with an excellent track record of working collaboratively across businesses.  You will have a demonstrated history of establishing strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders specifically with Sales, Field Marketing, Product Development, Brand and Design. You will enjoy working directly with customers and be highly expert in communication both verbal and written. You may have been a journalist or a had a career in public relations. You will also develop a deep understanding of the value that Mixpanel brings to our key external stakeholders; our biggest asset, our Customers and Community.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and regional teams to further develop a strong Global Customer Program strategy in order to:
    • Drive deep engagement & deliver value to our most important customers
    • Help promote the great stories they have to tell to a wider audience of both customers and prospects
    • Help drive awareness of the value that Product Analytics and Mixpanel can deliver to high growth digital businesses. 
  • ​​Work with the different lines of business to track, measure, and share the impact of every program related to our overall GTM strategy
  • Work closely with senior customer and stakeholder groups to ensure internal and external alignment 
  • Contribute actively to success of the global GTM organization, sharing key learnings, best practices, creation of shared processes, comprehensive documentation and briefings and professional materials development

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • 8+ years of relevant Marketing and Communications experience in a B2B Saas Environment
  • You may have a background in journalism, presenting or public relations
  • You have excellent commercial awareness and active listening skills and are able to draw out interesting stories and data points from customers in order to craft compelling angles to stories and presentations.
  • You have strong storytelling and skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop close, trusting relationships with sales & customers as well as collaborate effectively with marketing, your regional stakeholders, and the product team 
  • You will be comfortable working across multiple timezones and different working styles and communication
  • You will understand the importance of Design & Brand and have experience working in the area of Customer Experience.
  • You have experience moderating and presenting on webinars or during events and feel very comfortable being the face of the company for key activities online or IRL (in real life)
  • You take pride in everything you and your team do—quality, creativity, execution, productivity, and balance
  • Strong stakeholder communication and management skills
  • You operate with a sense of urgency and hustle, and have a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Organized and detail-oriented, but adaptive to new learnings.
  • Data-driven and is focused on tracking, measuring and analyzing activity performance and ROI

Bonus Points For

  • Leadership and previous management experience 
  • Experience in the analytics industry, or a similarly technical B2B vertical
  • Specialization in any of the following: journalism, presenting or interviewing experience on stage or in the media, public relations
