Global Customer Marketing Manager

The Global Customer Marketing Manager requires a strong knowledge of our customers, and will be someone who is not afraid to think differently, contributing to the growth of our organization in a variety of ways as they build marketing programs and support targeted sales activity.

The ideal individual will be a pragmatic, intuitive hands-on marketer, capable of handling multiple projects at once and able to act on their own initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obsession with meeting demand generation goals that will grow the global business.
  • Act as marketing adviser to regional marketing and sales teams, partnering with them to deliver a differentiated market position for IFS that meets our growth and revenue targets.
  • Connect strongly with relevant product, services and sales leaders to understand the pain points, issues and topics to feature in campaigns and messaging. Act as the central hub for customer marketing ensuring that best practices and knowledge are shared and leveraged around the globe: representing marketing as a subject matter expert.
  • Accountable for developing an annual demand generation plan for cross sell programs and delivering customer focused end-to-end marketing programs that build IFS’s reputation and drive pipeline growth by expanding footprint within existing accounts
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to plan and deliver centrally generated programs such as demand generation campaigns, webinar programs, etc.
  • Design and manage production of high value short and long form content - including advertising, direct mail, event toolkits, digital content, webinars and social media messaging
  • Provide innovative approaches that reach customers and build relationships.
  • Analyze, monitor, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness aligned to key metrics such as marketing influenced pipeline, qualified leads, campaign performance.
  • Use a performance dashboard with stakeholders.
  • Supporting the optimization and fine tuning of campaigns.
  • Create and execute account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Provide Product Marketing with customer knowledge to boost the creation of product-centric value based messaging.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with sales leadership. 
  • Highly indexed on delivery and execution.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Strong demand generation skills with a customer-centric mentality.
  • Excellent social skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with others (both internally and externally).
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fluid priorities; able to manage multiple priorities and complex projects

Essential:

  • Experienced in B2B marketing.
  • Deep and demonstrable understanding of the customer’s business issues, with a focus on technology and how it solves them.
  • Excellent understanding of online marketing platforms and how they can be used effectively to source, nurture and accelerate sales journeys.
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business field (or relevant training/experience).

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role within a software technology organisation
  • Experience working within a global, virtual environment.
  • Experience developing and executing ABM programs.
