As a Global Client Director at LinkedIn Talent Solutions you will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to transform an industry. This is one of the highest profile sales roles within LinkedIn that will supercharge your own career trajectory. You will become the trusted advisor to a select portfolio of LinkedIn’s largest and most strategic Global Search, Staffing and Recruitment Consultancy customers. With Senior Executive support and an expert partner structure of cross-functional experts you will consult on strategic transformation projects that move the very value of these businesses in eyes of its candidates, consultants, clients as well as its shareholders.

Your role is to ensure we surprise and delight at every touch point not just long term with the commercial relationships at Managing Director and CxO level but also with Talent Acquisition strategies for their own business headcount growth and engagement from clients for their own commercial development. All this whilst growing their LinkedIn relationship at every level to ultimately help them achieve their most ambitious business goals across every facet of LinkedIn’s platform and service offering.

This is the most senior and strategic sales role in our organization; to succeed you will need significant experience in global solution selling and complex negotiation to CxOs within global and matrix organizational structures.

Your planning and analytical skills will be second to none and you will have the ability to lead and inspire a global team and represent the brand of EMEA & LATAM Staffing within the global business. As the leader of a global cross-functional team ranging from regional senior sales people and subject matter experts to insights analysts and recruitment industry experts, you will be expected to achieve synergy to reach a shared goal of helping our clients and LinkedIn succeed.

Responsibilities

Negotiation | Persuasion | Matrix influence  – The ability to negotiate with global procurement and CxO’S as well as the ability to define and execute a consistent and scalable pan talent growth strategy that is viewed as value and partner driven in the eyes of the customer

Active listening: Deeply listen and understand our clients’ business objectives and then translate these into actionable social recruiting strategies on LinkedIn

Micro/macro thinking: Work on your accounts as well as in your accounts. Appreciate the regional and global objectives of the client whilst keeping an eye on the detail of local sales opportunities through the wider relay and sales development team

Prioritization and time management: Manage multiple (and often conflicting) priorities and continuously answer the question “is this a good use of my time?”

Communicate clear objectives: Set clear goals for yourself and the wider cross functional team to ensure timely action on client related tasks

Communicate vision: As the person with the global oversight of your accounts, the cross functional team will look to you to provide vision and direction for each account

Cultural awareness: The global nature of the clients requires sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural business practices

Consulting and a vision sales mindset: Ability to act as a social recruiting consultant whilst maintaining a business development drive

Forecasting | Business acumen: Accurately forecast sales targets taking into account multiple relay sales partners’ activities

Manage pressure serenely: The wider team will look to you to give level headed advice and make sound decisions at times of pressure, especially during peak sales renewal times

Utilize team talent: Effectively utilize the cross functional team to meet client objectives by delegating and empowering the best person for each task

Travel: around 25% is to be expected

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years closing sales experience or experience leading a global team
  • Fluency in English.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Search & Staffing verticle
  • Experience managing global accounts in net new and renewal environments
  • Experience managing both directly and indirectly through influence and alignment
  • Experience selling to and influencing EVPs, CXOs and end-users (in the same sales cycle) in both individual and team sale environments
  • Experience selling to EVPs and CXOs of Fortune 100 companies or companies with annual revenues exceeding $15 billion
  • Experience in selling brand new, disruptive technology
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on account strategy plans, structure complex global deals, manage multiple territories and develop business to support growth
