Global Chartering Manager & Technical Advisor

Join us as our new Global Chartering Manager & Technical Advisor!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Global Chartering Manager & Technical Advisor to join our Business Acquisition team. In this role, you will manage charter parties for DOF global vessels and long-term chartering of third-party vessels, source vessels, evaluate the suitability of assets, and assist in negotiating charter parties. You will be responsible for initiating and preparing mandates for improvement campaigns, including updating business tools and systems. You will also assist our renewable business line in developing vessel solutions and strategy, as well as support regions in tenders for vessel solutions.

The role works closely with other business processes functions in a fast changing, dynamic industry - where there will be plenty of opportunity to grow, apply your knowledge, skills and experience in DOF's core activities. Requirements

  • Master’s degree or similar with specialisation in Business, Technical or other area relevant to Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience from relevant industry & role.
  • Experience from leading teams.
  • International Experience is desirable.
  • Good knowledge in Information Technology (IT), business tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate technical and commercial alternatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location

This role will be based in our office at Bergen or Storebø, depending on the candidate.
