Global Associate Director, Data & Tech – adidas Group
Overview of Job:
adidas is one of essencemediacom’s largest global clients with an annual media buying budget of 400M€. Spanning 68 markets worldwide, its account structure is underpinned by a global leadership team. As part of the global team, the Global Data & Tech AD is accountable for developing data & technology strategy globally and driving its application through marketing and advertising technologies for adidas & Reebok.
The Global Data & Tech AD is the primary lead across cookieless, audience and creative data & technologies and projects; this includes but is not limited to cookieless technologies and solutions, CRM technology & data integration, ad personalisation, dynamic creative optimisation (DCO), and creative analytics. Responsible for global governance, the AD directs execution teams (end users) in 68 markets on the use of technology, digital platforms, and data, and is also a key contributor to wider data and tech projects.
The Data & Tech AD develops strategic guidance to local markets and end users, consults with tech vendors and source data and tech partnerships, and defines the cookieless, audience and creative test & learn agendas. Works across brand and performance to align KPIs and provide holistic guidance for regions. Additionally, oversees a WPP-wide project integrating Media & CRM channels for adidas globally.
